Description:
Once you’ve learned to frame walls and a roof, the next step is to build stairs to get to your second floor! Building stairs is one of the more advanced aspects of framing, and can be intimidating because of the math involved, but with a little guidance it’s quite straightforward. We make sure that everyone comprehends the theory behind stair layout as well as the required codes while learning the practical aspects of building a set of stairs.
Stair construction is useful if you have a shed with a loft, a deck that needs repair, or if you’re building your own home. Understanding the interplay of rise and run helps you design safe and comfortable stairs.
