Description:
What tools do most carpenters carry in their tool belts? How do you sharpen a carpenter’s pencil? When might you need to use a hand saw? Where should you use a screw rather than a nail? Why do we use a base 12 measuring system? These are just a few of the burning questions answered in our Basic Carpentry Skills 101 courses. We offer these courses at least once a month to introduce women+ to carpentry fundamentals. Starting from the very basics, we walk you through the safe use of hand and power tools while building a pair of sawhorses. Who will find empowerment and community in one of our Basic Carpentry Skills 101 classes? YOU!
