Hammerstone School is surrounded by farmland on a country road in Jacksonville, New York.  We're a five mile drive from Cayuga Lake, with swimming, hiking, and boating access at Taughannock Falls State Park. The school is seven miles north of Ithaca, a small city bustling with restaurants, local crafts, swimming holes, gorge hikes, and farmers’ markets. Hammerstone is equally close to Trumansburg, a charming village with restaurants, bowling, and great coffee. People visit the Finger Lakes Region from afar for the numerous wine trails and to enjoy the natural beauty this area offers.
