Description:
While the working conditions for installing roofs are challenging, the installation of common roofing materials is actually quite straightforward. And like everything in construction and life, the devil is in the details. In this course we discuss a wide range of roofing materials and what factors go into choosing them: aesthetics, cost, durability, etc. We practice installing several different types of roofing materials, and focus on critical transitions where flashing is essential.

Since 2020, we have offered a sliding scale for all of our course offerings. Materials costs are not included in the sliding scale. Please choose a tuition amount that you can afford to attend this class.
