Who is this class for:
This course is open to women-identifying and non-binary folx as well as trans men of any skill level without a prerequisite.
Description:
This project-based class is a great way to refine your woodworking skills. A simple serving tray doesn’t require a lot of material, so you can experiment with more expensive wood varieties and joinery techniques. We keep the construction of this beautiful tray straightforward but elegant so it is accessible to all skill levels. After class, you can easily adapt the design by choosing more advanced joinery and milling techniques as your skills improve.
Level up your handbuilt wooden serving tray by attending our 2-day parquetry class where you can create geometric designs with wood veneer to adorn your tray bottom. Join us for both classes and receive a discount! Check out the course listing for parquetry here and email us at admin@hammerstoneschool.com for the discount code.
Sliding Scale Payment:
Since 2020, we have offered a sliding scale for all of our course offerings. Materials costs are not included in the sliding scale. Please choose a tuition amount that you can afford to attend this class.
