Course Project Solicitation
Do you have a project that you’re hoping to build in the coming year? Consider contracting with Hammerstone School; not only will you benefit from high-quality work, but also your build can double as an educational opportunity for new women carpenters!
We are always interested in projects that lend themselves to teaching. We are searching for builds that are small in scale, and encompass a wide element of skill-teaching opportunities. Examples of past projects include tiny houses, pole barns and sheds, and small timber framed structures.
As a project owner, you will provide all materials used on the build. We cannot guarantee how far our classes will get towards completing the project. At the end of the class, you are free to take the project as-is, or to hire Hammerstone to complete your build.
We would love to hear about your project! What are you hoping to build? Is your build portable, or will we work on location? Where are you located? Do you have ideas about design and budget, or can we help you with this? What is the time frame in which you hope to complete your build? Are you a woman interested in learning carpentry skills as part of this build?
