Description

You will need to bring:  Personal hand tools from this tool list.  (Most students have or can borrow most of these tools)

Who is this class for: This introductory carpentry classes is open to women of any skill level.

Pre-requisites: None

Overview: Carpentry skills are only reinforced with practice.  And we can only practice when we have a project to build.   And what’s more inspiring to build than an outdoor game that will provide entertainment for the family and friends all summer long!  Cornhole is a popular beanbag toss game that is fun for kids and adults alike.  Keep it in your yard for picnics and other gatherings.  And as a carpentry project, it’s a great introduction to a variety of new tools and skills, while being fairly forgiving for novice carpenters.  Plus, your finished cornhole set is a great canvas for artistic expression.

Lead Instructor: Maria Klemperer-Johnson
